THE GRADUATE

Today Rupert graduated from the Level 2 Obedience at the DTCC.  He was such a good baby!  I had been working to ween him off the treats, and was having trouble because, the minute he did not get a treat, that was it!  No treat = no work!  Well today we had a breakthrough and he did not humiliate me, as in the past, and did pretty much what was asked of him.

Here is the graduation class, Barbara, the teacher, is near me with the blue apron.  We had a real good time today working with the Agility equipment, and Rupert did quite well with all the different pieces.  At  first he seemed to have trouble with the tunnel (the small one), and the "plank" for lack of a better word, but at the second try he went through, and pretty soon he was just going on most equipment looking for treats.  Now we should begin a Level 3 class, Sports FUNdamentals, which will do a lot more agility, I don't know about Rupert, but I'm really looking forward to it!

PRESENTING...CH. TRIADEL'S AFTER TOMORROW...

...the dam of Argon, Bobby, Cooper, Gigi, Helium, Rupert, and Quincy.  The puppies were born on October 7, 2008.

Here are her puppies at 5 weeks.  Red, Pink, Orange, Green, Brown, Blue, and Turquoise, who later were registered as:

Red, Triadel's Platinum Quince, Quincy;
Pink, Triadel's Helium, Helie;
Orange, Triadel's Argon;
Green, now Triadel's Thorium, Rupert;
Triadel's 24 Karat Gold;
Triadel's Boron Big Brown;
Turquoise, now Triadel's Cobalt, Cooper;

Five of the brothers and sisters are doing very well in the Conformation Ring, Helie is already a Champion, all others are pointed.  Two, Bobby and Cooper, are "stay at home" companions.  I don't know much about Bobby, but PLENTY about Cooper who was adopted by my daughter and her family.  He is a "family man", has three children to take care of, takes them to school most everyday, and waits patiently until they get back so that they can play.  His temperament is exceptional, very patient, mild and happy...the perfect family dog!  He is loved so much, and he deserves every bit of it!  Living in North Jersey he has had a chance to find out about snow this year, and he loves playing in it with the kids, they slide down the hill with their sleds, and he follows jumping up and down, back and forth.

Tommy took  Best of Breed at the 2009 Nationals, and is number 10 in the DPCA Standings.
